ILLUSIVE

I'm Illusive a Hip Hop artist from the Southwest UK. I started writing lyrics when I was around 13 on and off until the age of 15. At 16 I began releasing large numbers of songs which gathered good feedback so at 17 I started to record my debut mixtape "The Renaissance". I then started my own label "Evareal Productions" where I recruited several other artists, graphic designers and producers.

At 18 I released "The Renaissance" with several large name collabs and managed to rack up 80,000 plays/downloads in total. For "The Renaissance" admittedly I was dumbing my lyrics down and making music others wanted to hear rather than making the music I wanted to. That then birthed the free mixtape series "Beast Mode" the first of which was released late 2010.

As of now im recording my 3rd mixtape "Beast Mode 2" and an EP which will be produced entirely by Evareals very own Hutch called "Nature of the Beast". After that there are plans for a full length debut album but this has no mention of a release date as of yet. For now I rap my personality and say whatever the f@ck I want and this suits me down to a tee. Im down to work with any like minded artists that don't wear their little sister's trousers or think Lil Wayne is the best lyricist alive.
